Meet the Doctors

Dr. Michael K. Davis, Optometric Physician

Dr. Michael K. Davis (Dr. Mike) received his B.A. degree from Maryville College in Maryville, TN, and his B.S. and O.D. degrees from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1987. Dr. Mike started his career in Knoxville, TN, before settling in Mt. Juliet, TN, where he and his brother opened their practice. He has invested a lot of time during his career into Mt. Juliet and its residents and is still an active participant in community activities. Dr. Mike performs Comprehensive Eye Examinations with an emphasis on contact lenses, senior eye care, and ocular disease management.

Dr. Peter M. Davis, Optometric Physician

Dr. Peter M. Davis (Dr. Pete) received his B.A. degree from Maryville College in Maryville, TN, and his B.S. and O.D. degrees from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1987. He completed his residency in Pediatric Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in 1988 and is a certified Pediatric Optometrist. Dr. Pete started his post-residency career as a clinical instructor in Pediatric and Primary Eye Care Optometry at Southern College of Optometry before joining Mt. Juliet Family Vision.

Dr. Kevin Davis, Optometric Physician

Dr. Kevin Davis received his B.S. degree Magna Cum Laude from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN in December 2011, and his O.D. degree Summa Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in May 2016. He completed externships in primary eye and vision care in Memphis and in ocular disease at Eye Specialty Group in Memphis. Dr. Kevin joined Mt. Juliet Family Vision after completing his education.

Contact Lenses: We offer a wide range of contact lens options, including rigid gas perms, to fit your needs. Our team will work with you to find the perfect fit and provide you with proper care and handling instructions.

Eye Disease Management: We provide management for various eye diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye syndrome. We will monitor your condition, provide treatment options, and refer you to specialists when necessary.

Emergency Eyecare: We are equipped to handle eye emergencies, such as eye infections, injuries, and sudden vision loss.

Dry Eye Treatment: We offer a variety of treatments to manage dry eye syndrome, such as artificial tears, warm compresses, and punctal plugs.

LASIK Co-Management: We work closely with LASIK surgeons and provide pre- and post-operative care for LASIK patients.

Cataract Co-Management: We work closely with cataract surgeons and provide pre- and post-operative care for cataract patients.

Frame Collection: We have a wide selection of frames from various designers to fit your style and budget.
