Nissa's String Studio

Located in Lincoln, Nebraska, Nissa's String Studio is a string academy that provides a warm, positive, and enriching environment for students of all ages to flourish in. Our studio is dedicated to helping students cultivate their own creativity, find their own niche in the world of music, and develop their technical and artistic skills.

About the Studio

Established in 2003, Nissa's String Studio is a comprehensive music school that offers private lessons in a variety of string instruments, including violin, viola, cello, bass, and guitar. Our instructors are experienced musicians who are passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping their students achieve their musical goals.

Private Instruction

At Nissa's String Studio, we believe that making music is an athletic activity, as well as a mindful and spirited extension of oneself. Our private lessons are designed to meet the unique needs and goals of each student, from beginner to advanced levels. We offer lessons in 30-minute, 45-minute, and 60-minute intervals, allowing students to choose a schedule that fits their busy lifestyles.

Recitals

Our studio offers three recitals per year, where students have the opportunity to perform solo with accompaniment. We also have a Winter Recital where students perform chamber music in small groups, coached by their private instructor during scheduled rehearsals throughout December.

Our team of instructors is comprised of experienced musicians who are passionate about teaching and dedicated to helping their students achieve their musical goals. Our instructors include:
