Founded in 2009 by Matt and Jenny Richardson, Blue Raven Music Studios was established to create an inclusive, welcoming environment where music is accessible to everyone regardless of age or experience level. As lifelong musicians and educators, we envisioned a space that fosters both individual growth and collaborative opportunities through private instruction, ensemble experiences, and performance events. Our expansion in 2018 allowed us to increase our facilities to 10 teaching rooms and a dedicated group space, supporting our team of 15 highly experienced instructors. These educators bring thousands of hours of performing experience across diverse genres including rock, jazz, classical, and bluegrass. We emphasize the joy of musical exploration while maintaining technical excellence, offering programming for students from beginners to advanced musicians.Our curriculum includes specialized programs for young children, adult learners, and seasonal summer camps that culminate in public performances. With multiple recital opportunities and jam sessions throughout the year, we help students develop both skill and confidence. Our commitment to community is reflected in our group class offerings and partnerships with local music venues. Having trained numerous students who have gone on to pursue professional music careers, we continue to uphold our founding principle that music should be a lifelong source of joy and connection for all who walk through our doors.
