Our Journey Begins
Diane and Ken Wilson, passionate about winemaking and land preservation, recognized the potential of this historic property in 2015. After painstakingly renovating the 1880s Farmhouse, they embarked on a journey to restore the vineyards and create a sustainable, high-quality wine experience. The name "Jaxon Keys" pays tribute to two influential figures in the family: Jack Wilson and Cecil Keys, who shared a deep love for the land and its agricultural heritage.
A Legacy of Heritage
The captivating history of Jaxon Keys dates back to 1844, when Mexican land grant Rancho Sanel was bestowed upon Fernando Feliz. Throughout the years, the property changed hands, each owner leaving their own mark on the land. John McGlashen, a Scottish immigrant, built the charming Farmhouse that stands as a testament to the property's rich heritage.
Crafting Fine Wines and Spirits
Guided by a commitment to sustainable practices, our skilled winemakers produce a diverse array of wines, from crisp Sauvignon Blanc to robust Zinfandel. Our artisan distiller painstakingly creates award-winning brandies using a traditional copper pot still, paying homage to the rich spirit of the region.
