Our Story
Our journey began in 1988 when Lonnie Daugherty, a passionate and experienced mechanic, opened the doors to Stillwater Automotive Service. With a background in history from Oklahoma State University, Lonnie's passion for mechanical work was inherited from his father's auto shop in Muskogee, OK. Before opening his own shop, Lonnie honed his skills by working as a mechanic in a local shop, a Lincoln/Mercury Shop Foreman, and a Honda Tech. Today, our shop remains family-owned and operated, with Lonnie at the helm.
