History and Mission
At Child Lane, we believe that every child deserves to thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment. Founded in 1984, we have grown from a single location serving a handful of children to a comprehensive early care and education program serving nearly 6,000 children daily. Our mission is to provide care that values play and supports children in being their full potential.
Our Vision and Philosophy
At Child Lane, we are committed to providing care that is grounded in the principle of education equity. We believe that every child deserves to be respected and valued for who they are, regardless of their background, culture, gender, or ability. Our philosophy is centered on the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters social and emotional learning.
Early Care and Education
Our early care and education program is designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children from four months to thirteen years old. We offer a range of programs and services, including early care and education programs, family child care homes, and nutrition programs. We believe that play is essential for children's cognitive and social development, and our programs are designed to promote creativity, curiosity, and exploration.
Nutrition Program
Our nutrition program is designed to provide healthy and fresh meals to children in our care. We partner with licensed family child care providers to ensure that children receive nutritious meals that meet USDA standards. We believe that a healthy body and mind are essential for children's overall well-being.
Family Support Services
We understand that family support is critical to a child's development and success. Our family support services include professional assistance, enhanced referrals to community services, confidential guidance, and parenting education. We believe that parents and caregivers play a vital role in a child's development, and we are committed to supporting them every step of the way.
