The Banner School is a co-educational, independent school that has been Providing a nurturing and challenging environment for students since 1980. Our mission is to educate students from prekindergarten to 8th grade, promoting a strong school-family partnership, individual self-worth, and respect for others. Our Curriculum

The Learning Triangle

The cornerstone of The Banner School is "The Learning Triangle, " representing the school, family, and student working together to provide the best educational experience for the student. Cooperation and open communication among the three are essential for The Triangle to be successful. Active parent participation in a child's education is essential, as is parent support of school policies and programs. Teachers must also clearly communicate the school's curricular goals and classroom expectations to parents and students.

Circles of Citizenship

Our CIRCLES of Community Citizenship promotes values that all members of The Learning Triangle are expected to endorse and practice within the school community and in school matters. These values include Compassion, Integrity, Responsibility, Civility, Leadership, Empathy, and Service. We strive to instill these values in our students, and encourage them to carry these values throughout their lives.
