At Ryan Gootee General Contractors, LLC, we are a team of builders dedicated to delivering our clients concierge-level construction services. With a commitment to our core values, our focus remains on building relationships and ensuring success for all stakeholders. We are a two-time National AGC Build America Award-winning, licensed commercial general contractor performing work primarily in the Greater New Orleans region.

Our Story

Our journey began in 2005, shortly after Hurricane Katrina, with a multitude of rebuilding and restoration projects. Founding members Ryan Gootee, Michael DeGruy, and David Barbier were driven to create a company with a client-focused approach and an employee-driven culture. From these humble beginnings, our company has evolved into one of the region's most impressive general contractors with over 50 full-time employees.

Our Expertise

We provide assistance to Project Owners and Design Teams throughout the construction lifecycle, from planning and design to project completion. Our expertise spans multiple project types, including new construction, renovation, and historic restoration projects. We have a deep bench of building professionals with a proven track record of success.

Community Engagement

We are committed to giving back to our community. We are an industry partner with the United Community Center and participate in GiveNOLA Day, donating $100 on behalf of each team member to a participating non-profit. We also provide an additional paid day for volunteers to participate in activities with their chosen non-profit.
