Smith Construction Co. is a commercial general construction firm based in the New Orleans Metropolitan area. We have been in business since 1997, with a broad base of experience covering a range of project types. These project types include commercial, governmental, educational, historical, sporting and recreational, and religious facilities. We strive to make every project the most successful it can be, working closely with our clients and designers to ensure that the project meets the expectations of the owner. We take great pride in meeting the goals of our clients from start to finish of the construction project. As a SBA 8(a) Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business, U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) member, and State Licensed Contractor, we welcome the opportunity to demonstrate our professional abilities and expertise.

Our team has a strong working relationship with a wide variety of owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers, which has contributed to the success of our projects. We are a woman-owned, minority enterprise with over 50 years of combined construction experience in the greater New Orleans area. We are licensed in Louisiana for Building Construction, Electrical (Restricted), Mechanical (Restricted), Highway, Streets, and Bridge Construction, and in Mississippi for Building Construction. We are bonded and fully insured.
