At NVNA and Hospice, our mission is to provide high-quality home care, wellness, and public health services to our community. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to delivering compassionate care to our patients and their families, promoting wellness and public health, and supporting our neighbors in need.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to meet the unique needs of our patients and families. Our services include:

Home Care: We provide skilled care services in the convenience of our patients' homes. Our certified home care services are ordered by a physician and are paid for by Medicare or other health insurances.

Palliative Care: Our palliative care services aim to improve the quality of life and relieve the suffering of patients and families living with serious illness. We take a holistic approach to care, focusing on what is most important to our patients as a whole person.

Hospice Care: In addition to our in-home hospice services, we offer the Pat Roche Hospice Home, a 12-bed hospice home in Hingham that provides a dignified and peaceful environment for residents facing a life-limiting illness.

Private Duty: Our private pay services offer home health care for your loved ones. Our nurse-led staff of caregivers, homemakers, and companions provide a variety of supportive services to promote the safety and security of clients and their environments.

Bereavement Services: We believe that grief is a natural part of the healing process, and we offer bereavement services to support individuals and families who have lost a loved one.

Spiritual Care: Our spiritual care services provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and families facing serious illness or loss.

Concierge Care: We understand that each patient is unique, and our concierge care services are tailored to meet the individual needs of our patients and families.

Our History

NVNA and Hospice has a rich history dating back to 1920, when we first opened our doors as Norwell VNA. Today, we serve over 27 communities on Boston's South Shore, offering a range of home health, palliative, hospice care, and public health services.
