Lutunji's Palate

Welcome to Lutunji's Palate, a social enterprise "Built with Purpose; Fortified with Love." Our journey began in 2018 when Lutunji, the founder, met with the Pastor of an historic church in South Minneapolis to discuss launching a Charter School for teen parents. In a serendipitous moment, Lutunji's signature peach cobbler won over the Pastor, leading to the birth of Lutunji's Palate. Our bakery is a testament to the power of passion, community, and divine intervention.

At Lutunji's Palate, we believe in the power of food to bring people together and create positive change. We are committed to impacting our community by partnering with teen programs, young adults programs, and programs for men returning to society after incarceration. We teach community members about baking and how to run a business, providing them with a place of employment and a space for community healing.
