Transforming Lives, One Workout at a Time
At Campfire Music Collective, we believe that music has the power to bring people together and create meaningful connections. Our mission is to bring music back into daily life, one person, one song, and one campfire at a time. We empower adults to play and enjoy music at every stage of learning and life, regardless of their musical background or experience.
Our Story
You might know us as Boise Music Lessons, but we've changed our name to better reflect our mission to bring music back into daily life. Our new name, Campfire Music Collective, was inspired by our community. We believe that when people come together to play music, it's a spark that ignites connection: with music, with yourself, and with others.
Meet the Team
Our team consists of experienced music teachers and enthusiasts who are passionate about spreading the joy of music. Our founder, Angie Marianthi, is a master of health science and a certified yoga teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. She's dedicated to dispelling the myth that you have to be inherently "musical" to play an instrument. Marcus Marianthi, our co-founder, is an instructional designer and city planner who believes that anyone can play music and uses music as a tool to strengthen relationships and communities. Kati Eichelberger, our studio administrator, is a music education expert with over 30 years of teaching experience and uses her expertise to connect our players with our systems and resources.
Our Method
Our approach to music education is centered around our Song Cycle method, which focuses on learning and playing music in a holistic and engaging way. We believe that music is a journey, not a destination, and that everyone can learn to play and enjoy music at their own pace. Our method combines music theory, technique, and performance skills to create a fun and rewarding experience for our players.
Services
We offer a variety of services to help you achieve your musical goals. Our private lessons and group classes are designed to cater to players of all levels, from beginners to advanced musicians. We also offer customized music workshops and events for corporate teams, community groups, and families. Whether you're looking to learn a new instrument, improve your skills, or simply have fun with music, we've got you covered.
