Twilight Hill Music Studio

Twilight Hill Music Studio is a place where music education and personal growth come together to create a unique and transformative experience for students of all ages. Located in the Warm Springs area of Boise, Idaho, our studio offers private Suzuki piano lessons for beginner and intermediate students. With a focus on the Suzuki Method, we help our students develop a strong musical foundation that will benefit them for a lifetime. Our instructor, Mary Ann, is a dedicated and experienced teacher who is committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

Our Instructor

Mary Ann is a nurturing and patient teacher who has a deep love for music and a strong belief in the power of music education. She has been teaching piano for over 25 years and has trained in the Suzuki Method in both California and Idaho. She is certified in Books 1, 2, 3, and 4 and has also completed the "Every Child Can" course and the "Teaching Music Reading: From Sound to Symbol" course. In addition to her Suzuki training, Mary Ann holds a B.S. in Educational Psychology from Brigham Young University.

The Suzuki Method is a unique approach to music education that is built on the idea that "every child can." This method is based on the idea that musical ability is not an inborn talent, but rather a skill that can be developed and nurtured over time. At Twilight Hill Music Studio, we use the Suzuki Method to help our students develop a strong musical foundation that will benefit them for a lifetime.

The Suzuki Method combines a music teaching method with a philosophy that embraces the total development of the child. The method focuses on extensive listening and playing at the piano, with parental involvement and support being paramount. Group classes provide a supportive environment for students to have performance opportunities and to learn music reading and theory as separate skills. The Suzuki Method is not just about teaching music; it is about building character and developing well-rounded, noble human beings.
