Superior Painting & Contracting Company, Inc. has been a leader in the painting industry in and around Maryland for over 33 years. Family owned and operated, we were founded in 1980 by Barbara and Emanouel Fourtinakis. We have been a part of a great many commercial and industrial projects of all sizes in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

Superior takes great pride in the distinction of being WBE certified in the City of Baltimore, DBE certified in the District of Columbia, MBE certified in Maryland, WMBE certified in Delaware, and DMBE certified in Virginia. Our work includes but is not limited to public and private schools; college and university campuses; hospitals; medical buildings, pharmacies; office buildings; corporate campuses; government buildings; theaters, stadiums, and sports complexes; hotels; and large-scale housing projects.

Our Team

Barbara Fourtnakis, President, has 35 years of experience as an administrator and has held the designation of president of Superior Painting for 34 years. Emmanuel Aikaterinidis, Head Operations Manager, has been working for Superior Painting and Contracting Co., Inc. at some capacity throughout the past.
