Born in 1990, the Back Mountain Dance Studio has been a beacon of artistic expression for young dancers in the Greater Wilkes Barre area. Founded by passionate dance enthusiasts, the studio fosters a nurturing environment where young dancers can discover their unique voices through the art of dance.
Our Mission
Our mission is to cultivate a love for dance in every child, instilling in them confidence, discipline, and a sense of accomplishment. We believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive community where dancers of all ages can grow and develop their skills.

Our state-of-the-art dance facility features four spacious studios, each equipped with mirrored walls, central air conditioning, heat, and sprung flooring. The studio also boasts a fully equipped observation lounge where parents can comfortably watch their young dancers shine.
