Romar Dance Studio

Romar Dance Studio was founded by Rosemarie Moretti Graham and Mary Lou Moretti Lloyd in 1976 with the aim of sharing their love of dance with the local community. After studying with the late Constance Reynolds at Ballet Theatre of Scranton, they ventured back to Old Forge to share their appreciation for the art of dance. The studio's staff utilizes a graded system of teaching, which allows for the steady progress of each student. They are dedicated to the proper teaching of their students, focusing on teaching correct terminology that will be used throughout the young dancer's education. At Romar, the teaching of ballet is the core to each dance discipline. Quality in technique and performance, along with hard work and discipline, are the foundation of their studio. The staff provides both group and individual attention so that each dancer can see their progress and measure their accomplishment. Romar's goal has always been to provide a friendly, non-stressful, family atmosphere for their students. They have always made it a point to get to know not only their students but also their families, in order to foster this atmosphere. It is their hope that they can pass on their love of dance to each student who travels through their doors.
