Welcome to the Conejo Valley Unified School District Child Care Programs! We are proud to offer on-campus child care services for elementary students across our district. Our child care programs are designed to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can learn and grow at their own pace.

We offer child care services at the following campuses: Acacia, Aspen, Banyan, Cypress, Earths, Ladera, Lang Ranch, Madrona, Maple, Sycamore Canyon, Walnut, Weathersfield, Westlake, Westlake Hills, and Wildwood. Our programs are available to students in TK to 5th grade, from 7:00-8:30 am and from 1:30 to 6:00 pm.
The health and safety of our children and staff are our top priority. We follow all current health and safety protocols from the California Department of Public Health and Ventura County Public Health to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone. For information about our rates, please see the blue button above (Current Child Care Tuition Cost and Hours).
School Year Child Care
Parents may choose to enroll their children in the following programs:
- Kindergarten Enrichment: Provided for half-day, full-day, and Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students.
- Before & After School Care: For all students in TK through fifth grade, enrolled in a CVUSD elementary school.
We also offer a variety of summer programs, located at our elementary sites. Although priority enrollment is offered to currently enrolled child care families, enrollment is open to others as space is available. For more information on CVUSD Summer Camp, please visit 805summercamp.com.
Program & Staff
Our programs are staffed with highly qualified Child Care Leaders and Assistants. We create safe, nurturing, and fun experiences for children, providing them with a variety of activities and opportunities for individual expression. Our curriculum emphasizes the development of a sense of personal competence and interpersonal skills, such as conflict management and group cooperation.
Our program supports children in developing skills to make good choices, play safely, build self-esteem, and become independent learners. To enroll in our Child Care program, a student must be enrolled in one of our CVUSD schools, be potty-trained, and able to meet his or her basic needs.
Our Child Care staff is required to have college-level training in child development and school-age curriculum and recreation. Both Leaders and Assistants are experienced in working with school-age children and have taken training classes. All of our Child Care staff is also CPR and First Aid certified. Staff development and professional growth are continually provided to meet staff needs.
