Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that there may be some misconceptions about therapy, such as the notion that it's only for people who are "crazy" or that people should just fix their own problems. However, the truth is that anyone can benefit from therapy. If you're feeling overwhelmed, your problems aren't improving despite your best efforts, you're having trouble concentrating, or you're experiencing excessive worry or difficulty making healthy decisions, it may be time to consider therapy.
Why Go to Therapy?
Therapy is not just for people who are "broken." It's a tool for anyone who wants to improve their mental health, relationships, or overall well-being. Research has shown that most people benefit substantially from therapy, and it's not dependent on the type of therapy used.
How Long Does Therapy Take?
The length of therapy varies depending on a range of factors, including how clear you are about what you want to get out of therapy, your motivation to change, the intensity and severity of your problems, and the fit between you and your therapist. It's essential to be open and communicative with your therapist about your goals and reasons for treatment.
