Welcome to Smurawa's Country Bakery, a family-owned bakery located in the heart of Pulaski, Wisconsin. Our mission is to provide you with the highest quality bakery, coffee, and customer service. When you step into our bakery, you'll be greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that will take you back in time. We bake all of our goods from scratch, using only the freshest ingredients to ensure that every bite is as delicious as the last. Our spacious seating area and ample parking make us the perfect destination for a relaxing outing with family and friends.

Hours of Operation

We are open Wednesday through Saturday from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, Sunday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, and Tuesday from 5:30 am to 5:00 pm. We are closed on Mondays and will be closed from Wednesday, November 1st, 2023, through Sunday, November 5th, 2023. We will also be closed on Sunday, October 8th, 2023.

Custom Cakes

At Smurawa's Country Bakery, we're not just about doughnuts! We also specialize in custom cakes for all of your special occasions. Whether you're celebrating a baby shower, birthday party, retirement party, anniversary, or any other event, we can create a delicious cake that will be the centerpiece of your gathering. Our experienced bakers can create any flavor cake you desire, from classic chocolate and vanilla to fruit swirled combinations and more. Our cake decorator will then transform your cake into a work of art, complete with your chosen theme, icing, and colors.

If you're in a hurry or forgot to order in advance, we also have pre-decorated cakes available in our freezer section. Simply have us write your personal message on the cake, and you're on your way.

Pastries

We're famous for our Paczki, but we also offer a wide variety of other pastries, sweet rolls, and doughnuts. From classic custard long johns, apple fritters, crullers, and peanut persians, to danish crispies, caramel pecan rolls, assorted croissants, and peanut squares, we have something for everyone. We also offer eclairs, cream puffs, strawberry bavarian napoleons, cannoli, and much more.

All of our pastries are made from scratch using only the freshest ingredients. Whether you're stopping in for a quick breakfast, a mid-afternoon snack, or a sweet treat to take home, we have plenty of options to choose from.

Polish Specialties

At Smurawa's Country Bakery, we take pride in sharing our Polish and Bohemian ancestry through the bakery and food we have to offer. One of our most popular Polish specialties is Paczki Day, which we celebrate every year on Fat Tuesday. Paczki are a traditional Polish pastry that we have been making for over 90 years and four generations. Last year, we sold over 14,000 Paczki on Paczki Day!

In addition to Paczki, we also offer other Polish specialties throughout the year, including Christmas Stollen, Easter Baskets, and more.
