Our Story

It all started many years ago with a simple mom-and-pop sandwich shop called Byronz. Our founders created this cozy little spot in the early 80's for their family, friends, and the community. It was a place where people could come together, share stories, and enjoy some good old-fashioned homemade cooking. And it was there that the Byronz promise of "Homemade is Good" was born.

Today, we continue that tradition with our commitment to serving deliciously simple, bistro-inspired dishes done the Southern way. Our menu is filled with comforting favorites that are sure to satisfy any appetite. From our signature sandwiches on Byronz bread to our Homestyle Potato Chips and Corn and Seafood Bisque, every dish that leaves our kitchen is taste-tested repeatedly to ensure that it meets our high standards of quality and flavor.

Bistro Fare with a Southern Accent

We're not just a sandwich shop anymore. We've taken it up a notch with our dinner menu of "Good. Real Good" food. Our Bistro fare is inspired by the quaint cafes of Paris, the sophistication and casual flare of New York City bistros, and the undeniable flavor, spirit, and culture of Louisiana.

Our menu features dishes that are both comfortable and special, casual yet elegant, and a bit curious and undefined. From Steak Frites to Chicken Paillard, Seared Tuna, and Cassoulet, every dish is carefully crafted to bring a little bit of the South to your plate. And don't forget to save room for dessert!

Locations

We have two Baton Rouge locations and growing. Our Mid City location is at 515 Mouton Street, Baton Rouge, LA 2252181433, and is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 8:30pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 9:30pm, and Sunday from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Our Willow Grove location is at 8200 Village Plaza Court, Baton Rouge, LA 225-367-4170, and is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 8:30pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 9:30pm, and Sunday from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

We also have a location in Mandeville at 1901 Highway 190, Mandeville, LA 985-951-7595, and is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 9:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 10:00pm, and Sunday is closed.
