Breathe Better, Feel Your Best

My life's work is dedicated to supporting individuals in discovering their best selves and living fulfilling lives. I believe each person has the inherent capacity for growth, healing, and transformation. My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in empathy, understanding, and empowering clients to take ownership of their journeys. Whether you're seeking to address personal challenges, navigate family dynamics, or overcome addiction, my aim is to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your inner world and cultivate lasting change.

My Approach

I integrate various therapeutic modalities, tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. My foundation lies in clinical social work, which equips me with a broad understanding of human behavior, relationships, and the impact of societal factors on well-being. I am also trained in Radix, a method that emphasizes body awareness and emotional regulation. Radix has been profoundly impactful in helping clients process trauma, navigate complex emotions, and develop a deeper connection with themselves.

My work extends beyond traditional talk therapy; I incorporate Equine Somatic Psychotherapy, a powerful approach that harnesses the wisdom of horses to promote healing and self-discovery. Through interactions with horses, clients gain valuable insights into their patterns, develop emotional intelligence, and build resilience.

Experience and Expertise

My journey as a therapist has spanned over two decades, encompassing diverse settings and populations. Prior to establishing my private practice, I held leadership roles at acclaimed treatment facilities, gaining invaluable experience in addiction recovery, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.

I am certified as both a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), reflecting my commitment to ethical practice and specialized expertise. My education includes a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in Houston.

My Mission

My mission is to empower individuals to embrace their authentic selves and create lives filled with purpose and meaning. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, working alongside clients to identify their strengths, overcome obstacles, and achieve lasting well-being. I am dedicated to providing a compassionate and non-judgmental space where individuals can feel safe to explore their inner world and embark on a journey of personal growth.
