Flying Connie

Flying Connie is a fully insured and Coast Guard licensed fishing charter company based in Connecticut. We are proud to be drug tested, State of CT licensed, and hold a yearly Coast Guard Vessel Inspection. Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable fishing experience for our customers, and we take great care in maintaining our high level of qualifications.

Our boat, the FlyingConnie, is a 35 foot H&H that was hand built in Downeast Maine. This type of boat is known for its stability, seaworthiness, and suitability for fishing. The FlyingConnie has been upgraded with a fully enclosed head, a galley with seating, and a TurboCharged 500HorsePower Yanmar engine. We are confident that these upgrades will further enhance the fishing experience for our customers.

Our Services

At Flying Connie, we offer full service fishing charters with a fun and safety first attitude. We provide our customers with the latest Shimano rods and reels, fresh bait, and premium tackle to ensure a successful and enjoyable fishing trip. Our mate is there to assist with rigging, baiting, untangling, and filleting your catch at the end of the trip.

We offer a variety of fishing charter options, including half day, full day, and offshore tuna trips. Our half day charter is our most popular option and takes place on famous fishing grounds. Our full day charter is a great choice for those looking to fish during the week and take advantage of multiple species and the entire tide cycle. Our offshore tuna trip is a unique opportunity to catch tuna from a closer port and is available on specific dates in August.

In addition to our fishing charters, we also offer a 3 hour kid's trip that is perfect for young anglers. This trip is simple and focused on fun, and is available on Mondays through Thursdays. We also have a variety of other fishing trip options available, including Connecticut's finest striped bass, salt water sea bass, Atlantic ocean scup fish, black fish, warm weather fantastic fluke, and blues, threshers, and mako shark fishing.
