Our Yoga Classes

Join us at Mel-O-Yoga and experience the transformative benefits of yoga. Our classes cater to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced yogis. Our offerings include:

1. Back, Neck, and Shoulder Care: This class focuses on nurturing and stabilizing your back, neck, and shoulders through appropriate stretching and strengthening exercises. Suitable for all levels, as long as you can walk and get up and down off the floor unassisted.

2. Gentle/Beginner: Ideal for newcomers or those who prefer a slower, meditative pace, this class is an excellent starting point. Open to all levels, as long as you can walk and get up and down off the floor unassisted.

3. Yoga for Cancer: Led by our compassionate instructor, Sandy, a cancer survivor, this class combines medical knowledge with warm understanding. Open to individuals dealing with cancer, cancer survivors, and their caregivers. Donations are welcome to support cancer research.

4. Restorative Yoga: Dedicated to unwinding and preparing your body and mind for restful sleep. Open to all levels, as long as you can walk and get up and down off the floor unassisted.

5. Strengthen and Lengthen: More challenging than our Gentle/Beginner classes, these incorporate strength-building and stretching poses. Suitable for participants with varying yoga experience, as long as you are mobile and have no acute injuries or recent surgeries.

6. Flow and Yin Flow & Yin classes include slow flows and long, deep stretches. Suitable for participants with varying yoga experience, as long as you are mobile and have no acute injuries or recent surgeries.

7. Warm Power Flow: Physically challenging classes held in a heated room (85-90 degrees) with infrared ceiling panels. Recommended for practitioners with some yoga experience.

8. Power Flow: Physically challenging classes moving through vinyasa flows at a quick pace. Recommended for practitioners with some yoga experience.
