Who We Are

The Atlanta Association of Interpreters and Translators (AAIT) is a non-profit organization and the Georgia chapter of the American Translators Association, ATA. As the link to Atlanta's international community, and the world, we promote the professions of Translation and Interpretation and support their competency, skills, proficiency, and expertise. Our mission is to facilitate and procure continuing education and skills-building programs for interpreters and translators in Georgia, providing language resources to individuals, businesses, organizations, and government agencies in the local and international community.

What We Do

As a members-only organization, AAIT offers a range of services and benefits to its members. We provide access to training and professional development opportunities, skill-building workshops, and continuing education programs designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of interpreters and translators. Our members also have the opportunity to network with other professionals in the field, attend conferences and seminars, and participate in webinars on topics relevant to the profession. Additionally, our membership directory allows clients to easily find and contact experienced language professionals, providing a valuable marketing tool for freelance interpreters and translators.
