Welcome to the Byram Hills Preschool Association (BHPA)! We're a vibrant community of families who share a passion for fostering friendships, learning, and having fun in our local area. Founded in 1965, we've been bringing families together for over 50 years.

Our Beginnings

The BHPA has a rich history, beginning with a simple desire among local parents to organize regular outings for their children. In 1965, five PTA Board members gathered with their children for weekly trips to explore the wonders of the natural world, museums, and playful playgrounds. This initial group eventually evolved into the Wampus Preschool, laying the foundation for our organization.

Our Mission Today

Fast forward to today, and the BHPA has grown into a thriving community of over 330 families. We proudly offer a diverse range of programs and events for families with young children, including:

• Active Playgroups: Held throughout the week, offering opportunities for little ones to socialize and develop crucial social skills.
• Educational Events: Workshops, seminars, and guest lectures covering topics relevant to parenting and early childhood development.
• Social Gatherings: Fun and festive events such as movie nights, holiday celebrations, and family outings.
