Scale and Accessibility Issues
Many reviewers expressed frustration with the difficulty of accessing the facility, particularly with large trucks or trailers. The scale is described as "vintage" and "very tight, " making it challenging to maneuver. The lack of a turnaround option and the risk of damaging a tire due to the tight space are also major concerns. Additionally, the facility's location requires drivers to take a tight, uphill turn, which can be hazardous.
Unprofessional Service
Several reviewers reported poor service from the facility, including long wait times, closed gates, and unqualified or unwelcoming staff. One reviewer was turned away at 4:25 pm, despite being told that the facility closes at 4:30 pm. Others reported being misled by the website and signs, which advertised services that the facility did not actually offer.
Load Acceptance and Payment Issues
Some reviewers experienced difficulties in getting their loads accepted or paid for. One reviewer was told that their load was being delivered elsewhere, and another was informed that the facility does not accept certain materials, despite the website advertising otherwise. One reviewer felt that the facility should be "sued for false advertisement" due to the discrepancies.
Positive Comments
However, some reviewers had positive experiences at the facility, describing the staff as "friendly" and the service as "awesome." One reviewer mentioned that the facility is a good place to take recycled materials, and another appreciated the helpful and friendly employees.
