At Aloha Landscaping, we have a rich history and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces that not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of a property but also contribute to a sustainable future. For over two decades, we have been at the forefront of sustainable landscape design and construction services, specializing in green roof systems, roof pavers, and commercial and residential landscape design and maintenance.

Our journey began in 1951 when our founder's mother left Hawaii to attend school at Macalester College in Minnesota. Little did she know that her love for the state would inspire a lifetime of creativity and innovation in the world of landscaping. Our founder, with a Master's degree in Industrial Psychology from San Jose State University and 15 years of experience at Lockheed Martin, took the plunge and started Aloha Landscaping in 1998.

Leaders in Sustainable Landscape Design

Over the years, we have made significant strides in developing innovative solutions that prioritize sustainability, eco-friendliness, and eco-consciousness. Our commitment to green roofs dates back to 2005 when we spent two weeks in Switzerland studying the concept and returning to Minnesota to build the first major green roof in the state. This experience not only catapulted us to the forefront of green roof systems but also led to the development of a unique green roof soil with a carbon footprint 1,300% lower than conventional soil.

Certified Installers of Roof Pavers

In 2009, we were introduced to TileTech's storm-proof roof paver system and became certified installers. Since then, we have installed over 60,000 square feet of rooftop pavers across the United States and on the island of Guam. This partnership has enabled us to deliver exceptional services to our clients while contributing to the development of sustainable urban infrastructure.
