Miracle League Of Southlake

The Miracle League of Southlake is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing individuals with physical and mental challenges the opportunity to play the game of baseball. Our mission is to offer a safe, fun, and spirited environment where everyone can learn, develop skills, and experience the joy of baseball. Since 2015, we have been successful in creating an inclusive program that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, commitment, and community.

Our History

The Miracle League was founded in Georgia in 2000, and since then, it has spread across the United States, bringing joy and inclusivity to children and adults with disabilities. The Miracle League of Southlake was established in 2015, thanks to the vision and compassion of Doug Inman, a successful business entrepreneur. After seeing a report about the national Miracle League Organization, Doug was deeply moved and decided to bring the Miracle League to our area. Today, we continue to honor Doug's legacy by providing an inclusive baseball experience for all.

Our Services

The Miracle League of Southlake provides a custom-designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs and other assistive devices, ensuring that everyone can play, regardless of their abilities. Our league uses a buddy system, where each player is assigned a volunteer buddy who provides support and encouragement throughout the game. Our rules are specially designed to ensure that every player has a positive experience, including unlimited chances to bat, safe bases, and a home run for the last player in the lineup.

We offer three divisions: T-Ball, Coach Pitch, and Kid Pitch, catering to different skill levels and ages. Our season runs from September to November, with games played on Thursday nights and Saturday mornings. Registration for the 2024 Miracle League Fall season will begin on May 10th and close on August 17th.

Volunteer opportunities include being a buddy, coaching, helping with field maintenance, and serving on our board of directors.
