North Texas Premier Soccer Association

The North Texas Premier Soccer Association (NTPSA) is the preeminent male adult soccer league in the North Texas, Dallas, and Ft. Worth areas. Established with the goal of providing a structured and competitive soccer environment for adult players, NTPSA has grown to become a thriving community of soccer enthusiasts.

League Divisions and Age Groups

NTPSA comprises age group divisions for a wide range of ages. These divisions cater to players aged 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and over, ensuring that individuals of all ages and skill levels have the opportunity to participate and compete. The league's structure encourages not only the growth of individual players but also the development of tight-knit communities and camaraderie.

Team Registration and Important Dates

Team registration for the Spring season typically takes place on a middle weekend of January, while the Fall season registration occurs on a middle weekend of July. NTPSA adheres to strict registration deadlines to facilitate timely division placement and game scheduling. Unfortunately, late registration is not available as it may disrupt the league's carefully planned schedule.

Scheduling and Rescheduling

NTPSA diligently works to accommodate any schedule conflicts that teams may have during the season. However, it is essential to inform the league during registration about any known tournament participation or other commitments. Any request for rescheduling Sunday games will incur a $75 fee, as per league rules.

Team Division Placement

Great care is taken when placing teams in their respective divisions. NTPSA considers teams' past performance, the level of returning and new teams, and the overall competitiveness of the league. The postseason play is taken into account, but it does not solely determine a team's division placement. New teams are given special consideration in order to ensure they have a place to play and grow within the league.

Schedule and Player ID Card Distribution

Playing schedules and player ID cards are typically made available approximately a week prior to the league's start date. Captains are encouraged to pick up their teams' materials during the designated time, as schedules and ID cards will not be mailed.

Player Eligibility and Guidelines

NTPSA is committed to ensuring a fair and safe playing environment for all participants. Players must reach the proper age (18, 30, 40, 50, 55, as pertains to the playing divisions) on or before the first scheduled game date of the current playing season. Additionally, underage players are strictly prohibited from participating in NTPSA Adult Soccer.

ID Cards and Roster Changes

NTPSA handles ID cards and roster changes during specific times when ample staff is available to facilitate the process. This is done to maintain a secure environment and ensure that all paperwork is processed accurately.

Code of Conduct

NTPSA encourages all participants to uphold a high standard of sportsmanship, respect, and integrity both on and off the field. Any instances of unsportsmanlike conduct or rule violations will be addressed by NTPSA's Disciplinary Committee, which has the authority to issue penalties, including but not limited to, suspensions and fines.
