Building Success, One Project at a Time.
Bowman Construction Supply boasts a rich history of serving the construction industry with technical expertise, top-notch customer service, and a wide array of solutions. Our story began in 1969 when Tom Bowman Sr. and his family founded the company, initially focusing on supplying bridge bearing pads and expansion joints for transportation projects. Equipped with a keen understanding of bridge design and a commitment to providing products with even the tightest lead times, Bowman Construction Supply quickly gained recognition for its reliability and valuable contributions to the market. From the outset, fostering strong relationships with both manufacturers and contractors has been a cornerstone of our success, cementing our reputation as a trusted source for materials and added value within the design and construction community.
Expanding Horizons
In 2000, Bowman embarked on an exciting new chapter by acquiring Revex, a landscape supply company based in Longmont, Colorado. Revex specialized in erosion control, but more specifically, in vegetation management and cultivating successful plant growth in challenging soils. This acquisition led to the integration of innovative technologies and a renewed focus on the use of mycorrhizae, humates, and fertilization techniques, ultimately transforming the landscape industry. Today, this expertise is organized under the banner of Rocky Mountain Bio Products, a division of Bowman Construction Supply, further solidifying our commitment to providing comprehensive solutions for ecological restoration and sustainable land management.
Architectura Expertise
Recognizing the evolving needs of the construction market, Bowman Construction Supply expanded its reach in 2003 by establishing a dedicated Architectural Division. This division ventured into representing a diverse portfolio of building products, including windows, doors, wall protection, skylights, roof hatches, bathroom fixtures, partitions, lockers, awnings, and expansion joints. The Architectural Division's representatives serve architects and designers in Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Utah, working closely with some of the industry's leading manufacturers such as CSI, BASWA, Babcock Davis, Indoor Sky, Okalux, Schott, Super Sky, Trusscore, and many others. This strategic move allowed Bowman to offer comprehensive solutions for all aspects of architectural construction, further solidifying its position as a one-stop shop for building materials.
Geosynthetic Excellence
Another pivotal acquisition in 2006 saw Bowman Construction Supply incorporate Buckley Powder's construction supply division. This division had a long-standing reputation for supplying geotextiles and erosion control products to the construction industry. Through this acquisition, Bowman secured a dominant position as a provider of Ten Cate Mirafi's full range of geotextile fabrics, including woven fabrics, non-woven fabrics, specialty high-strength geotextiles for challenging subgrades, wicking fabrics for managing subsurface water, and the innovative RSi fabrics designed to reduce pore water pressure and facilitate road construction in demanding environments. With strategic inventory management across its Denver and Longmont locations, Bowman ensures efficient and timely delivery of construction materials, meeting the needs of even the most urgent projects.
