In addition to our baked goods, we offer a selection of sandwiches made with fresh Boar's Head products and tasty savory specialties for every meal. We make fresh pastries and cakes daily and offer sandwiches made to order. Our savory quiches, including Quiche Lorraine, Quiche Florentine, and Crab Quiche, are the perfect choice for a quick and satisfying meal.

Our Story

La Baguette was founded by Anita and Ludovic, a French couple who met and fell in love in France. After many years of dreaming of having their own storefront to provide fine French breads and pastries for all to enjoy, they opened the award-winning La Baguette in Dover in February 2017.

Chef Ludovic Bezy is a graduate of Culinary Arts School in St. Dizier, France. He has worked in many restaurants and catering services and has training in breads, pastries, and more from his time in France. Ludovic is also a local artist and is passionate about oil on canvas, sketching, and watercolors.

Anita Wheeler-Bezy has a degree in Hospitality Management and is the Marketing Director for Chef Ludovic and all of his projects. She is French/American and went to school in both countries. Anita is retired from the ophthalmology field after 21 years and loves music and ballroom dancing.

Together, Anita and Ludovic make a winning team. They are working owners for both Dover and Lewes locations.
