Shining Stars Preschool provides a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where young minds can flourish. Founded by passionate educator Shannon McComb, our preschool is dedicated to fostering the social, emotional, and intellectual growth of each child.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide high-quality early childhood education that equips young learners with the cognitive, social, and emotional skills they need to thrive in kindergarten and beyond. We believe in creating a strong foundation for future success through play-based learning, positive reinforcement, and individualized attention.

1. Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum

Our curriculum is aligned with Washington State Early Learning and Developmental Guidelines. Our age-appropriate activities encourage exploration, discovery, and skill development in all developmental domains: cognitive, physical, social-emotional, and language.

2. Skilled and Experienced Teacher

Shannon McComb, the founder and lead teacher, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational Studies and has extensive experience working with children in various educational and extracurricular settings. Her passion for early childhood education and genuine love for children are evident in her nurturing approach and engaging teaching style.
