Our journey began in the early 1980s when our founders, commercial real estate investors, decided to provide third-party services to a growing portfolio of office, retail, and industrial properties throughout the Twin Cities. Over the years, we have expanded our services and grown our team, becoming one of the most sought-after property management firms in the area.

Our Team

Our leadership team is comprised of experienced professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients. Our CFO and COO, Barb Schuba, joined Suntide in 2000 and has been instrumental in the company's operations. With a background in both accounting and property management, Barb has fostered growing relationships with vendors, employees, and new clients, expanding our third-party sector to what it is today.

In 2017, our founders were ready to retire, and Barb teamed up with Max Currie, head of the Construction and Maintenance teams, to buy the company. Max has a technical background that drove him to pursue energy efficiency upgrades for our managed properties. He hired, trained, and developed what would become Suntide's in-house Construction team, a combination of professional carpenters and tradesmen who are available for hire throughout the Twin Cities.
