Rose Hill Christian Preschool

We are thrilled to welcome you to Rose Hill Christian Preschool, a ministry of Rose Hill Church that has been providing exceptional early childhood education since 1979. Our preschool is designed to nurture and develop young minds by incorporating Christian values and a Bible-based curriculum into our interactive learning environment. We believe that every child is a unique creation of God, and we strive to guide each child to see themselves through the eyes of Jesus.

Our Mission

At Rose Hill Christian Preschool, we understand God's love and power through everyday experiences. We are committed to guiding children to see themselves through the eyes of Jesus, gaining confidence in their new abilities and the gifts that God gives. We encourage a love for each other in all they do, develop a sense of responsibility for his/her behavior, and nurture a positive and eager attitude toward discovery!

Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to provide a variety of both group and individual learning activities through bible stories, art, dramatic play, and kindergarten readiness skills. Our classes are age-appropriate, and we focus on providing social and academic skills in a caring and enriching setting. Our students build self-confidence, emotional resilience, problem-solving, and cooperation skills through our interactive curriculum.

Facility

Our facilities include two large interconnected classrooms, two restrooms, and an outdoor fenced play area. Our classrooms have dedicated science and discovery areas, art experiences, table activities, and group spaces. Our outdoor fenced play area also includes a large safe space to ride trikes. For inclement weather, we have an indoor gym. Safety and security of students is a priority, and we have fire and earthquake procedures in place.

Enrollment

We are currently enrolling for the 2024/2025 school year, and we encourage you to reserve your spot today by filling out the enrollment form online and sending in a deposit. Our enrollment process starts in January of the preceding year and continues until classes are full. We admit students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin, and we are proud to offer limited scholarship help.

Classes

Our classes are designed to provide a variety of both group and individual learning activities through bible stories, art, dramatic play, and readiness skills. We offer three classes: the 3's Butterflies Class, the 4's ladybugs Class, and the Pre-K Busy bees Class. Each class is age-appropriate, providing social and academic skills in a caring and enriching setting. Parent and teacher communication is paramount to the success of each student and is fostered through newsletters, calendars, parent and teacher conferences, and school events.

Daily Activities

Our daily activities include group time for Bible discovery, cooperative games, music, memorizations, and storytime. We also provide desk work, including scissor skills, math manipulatives, writing, arts, matching, rhyming, etc. We offer discovery time, which includes learning centers with a changing variety of art, blocks, workshop, animal play, drama center and table activities. We provide safe snacks, show and tell, outdoor or gym playtime, and a job chart.

Calendar

Our school year is based on the academic calendar of Lake Washington School District, and we offer a year-long calendar for download. We are proud to admit students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
