Avant Chamber Ballet

At Avant Chamber Ballet, our mission is to bring exceptional live dance and chamber music together for audiences in Dallas and Fort Worth. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to presenting a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary works from local and internationally acclaimed artists. Since our inaugural season in 2012, we have presented over fifty world premiere ballets.

Our Vision

At Avant Chamber Ballet, we are passionate about creating new and relevant works of performing art here in Dallas. We believe that our art should reflect the city of Dallas and that what we create belongs to everyone, not just traditional patrons of the arts. We are committed to presenting our free classes, workshops, and performances all over Dallas and meeting people in their neighborhoods to make art easily accessible for everyone.

Our Staff

We are led by our Artistic Director, Katie Puder, who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization. Our staff is comprised of dedicated and passionate individuals who are committed to our mission and vision. Our staff members are not only talented professionals but also passionate about the arts and dedicated to making a difference in our community.

Our Dancers

Our dancers are an ensemble of classically trained professionals who have performed internationally and are dedicated to presenting exceptional live dance performances. Our dancers are passionate about what they do and are committed to sharing their love of dance with our audiences.

Our Outreach

We believe that everyone deserves access to the arts, regardless of their background or financial situation. That's why we are committed to outreach and community engagement. We present free concerts and performances in underserved communities, and we offer discounted tickets to make our performances more accessible to everyone.

Our Performances

We present a diverse range of performances, from classical ballets to contemporary works. Our performances are a reflection of the city of Dallas and the diversity of our community. We believe that our art should reflect the world around us and that what we create belongs to everyone.

Our Training and Education

We offer a range of training and education programs for dancers of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our programs include a variety of classes, workshops, and intensives, as well as private lessons and Pilates classes. We also offer auditions for our professional company and for our pre-professional company.
