Since opening our doors in 1978, we have become masters of our craft, and our dedication to excellence has earned us a reputation as the go-to fabrication and machining company in South Mississippi and surrounding areas.

About Us

Cuevas Machine Company Inc. (CMC) is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the community for over 40 years. Founded by Paul Cuevas in 1978, CMC started as a small operation in a laundromat and later moved to a barn before finding its current location on Highway 53 in Poplarville, MS. Today, CMC employs 45 people, many of whom work in the field at different locations. Our facility boasts a 10,000 square foot machine shop and a 14,625 square foot fabrication shop with 20 foot working height, enabling us to take on projects of all sizes.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services that cater to the needs of plant maintenance, plant repair, and new fabrications. Our fabrication department is equipped with a 14,625 square foot fabrication shop with two 10 ton overhead cranes and 23 feet of working height, where our team of skilled welders work tirelessly to complete each job promptly and precisely. Our welding capabilities include Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (STICK or SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), and Submerged Arc Welding. (SUBARC).

In addition to our fabrication services, we also offer CNC machining, field services, and equipment sales and rentals. Our CNC machining capabilities allow us to handle complex projects with precision and accuracy, while our field services team is equipped to handle plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and more. We also offer a range of equipment for sale and rent, including drill presses, grinders, lathes, Lincoln welders, Miller welders, mills, miscellaneous saws, and more.
