About Us
Riverbend Campground has been in the making for over 150 years. The land was originally owned by the Nicholson family, who farmed the land for generations. After Carlton Nicholson's passing, his wife Hazel Nicholson decided to retire the land, and it remained idle for over 20 years. In 2005, Hazel's daughter Susie McNabb and her husband Bobby decided to turn the land into a campground. With their passion for RVing and the great outdoors, they brought their dream to life.
Our Facilities
At Riverbend Campground, we offer a range of facilities to ensure your comfort and convenience. Our facilities include:
- Country Store: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, our country store offers a variety of essentials and souvenirs. You'll find Hershey's Ice Cream, camping supplies, souvenirs, ice, firewood, fish bait, apparel, and handmade crafts.
- Bathhouses: We have two modern bathhouses with private showers and dressing rooms. Each bathhouse is heated during cool weather, and each sink is equipped with power outlets for your convenience.
- Pavilions: We have two covered pavilions with picnic tables and water. The large pavilion offers a full kitchen, making it perfect for parties and gatherings.
- Clubhouse: Our clubhouse offers tables, chairs, refrigerator, stove, microwave, double sink, and counter space for parties up to 50. It's adjacent to the pool and has restroom facilities.
- Laundry Facilities: We have two convenient laundry facilities located throughout the campground, making it easy to clean and freshen up during your stay.
Recreational Activities
