Our facility is open seasonally from April 1st to November 1st, providing ample opportunities for visitors to experience the beauty of nature during various times of the year. Whether you're looking to enjoy the warm weather of spring, the vibrant colors of fall, or the cool breeze of early winter, we have something for everyone.

Our Accommodations

At River Campground, we offer a variety of lodging options to cater to different needs and preferences. Our accommodations include RV Sites, covered tent shelters, primitive sites, cabins, and group facilities. Each of our campsites is equipped with water and electric hookups, and we have our own private bathrooms that include showers for your convenience.

For those looking for a more rustic experience, our primitive sites offer a chance to truly immerse yourself in nature. Alternatively, our cabins provide a cozy and comfortable space for those who prefer a more traditional accommodation.

Our Activities

River Campground is located on the picturesque Tallulah River, providing a beautiful backdrop for a variety of outdoor activities. Whether you're interested in swimming, fishing, or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll along the riverbank, we offer numerous opportunities to connect with nature.

In addition to our river activities, we are conveniently located just four miles north of the Tallulah Gorge, a popular destination for hikers and nature enthusiasts. With trails suitable for all skill levels, the gorge offers breathtaking views and a chance to experience the beauty of the natural world up close.

Our Policies

At River Campground, we strive to create an environment that is welcoming and enjoyable for all guests. To ensure this, we have established a few policies that we kindly ask all visitors to adhere to.

We are a dog-friendly facility, provided your dog behaves, is leashed, and picked up after. We allow a maximum of three dogs per site.

Quiet time is at 11:00 pm, and we kindly ask that all guests be courteous to their neighbors during this time.

Check-in begins at 1:00 pm, and check-out is at 11:00 am. We require a 24-hour notice for full refunds, minus a 3.5% processing fee. If cancelling less than 24 hours, a credit for a future stay can be applied.
