Yakima Valley Vintners Teaching Winery

At Yakima Valley Vintners, we're passionate about producing exceptional wines that showcase the unique characteristics of the Yakima Valley region. As a teaching winery, we're dedicated to providing our students with hands-on experience in the art and science of winemaking, while also sharing our love of wine with the community.

Our Story

Yakima Valley Vintners was established as part of the Yakima Valley College Vineyard and Winery Technology Program, with the goal of providing students with real-world experience in the wine industry. Since our first release in 2008, our award-winning wines have garnered numerous Platinum awards, surpassing any other student-made wines in the state. Today, we produce between 400-700 cases per year, with a focus on crafting high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Yakima Valley.

Our Services

At Yakima Valley Vintners, we offer a range of services and experiences that allow you to engage with our wines and our community. Visit one of our two tasting rooms, located in Yakima and Grandview, to taste our latest releases and learn more about our winemaking process. Join our Wine Club to receive exclusive access to new releases, special discounts, and invitations to events and seminars. We also offer private tours and tastings, perfect for special occasions or corporate events.

Tasting Room Hours

Our Yakima Tasting Room is open Fridays and Saturdays from Noon to 5pm, with reservations encouraged.
