Students develop strength and grace through barre work, center combinations, and pointe training by invitation. The curriculum prepares dancers for professional careers or recreational enjoyment while emphasizing classical ballet foundations.
Acrobatics Training
Acrobatics instruction teaches proper stretching and strengthening techniques for skills parallel to gymnastic floor exercises. Certified instructors guide students through cartwheels, walkovers, and advanced stunts using the Acro Arts curriculum. Classes are offered for ages 4 through high school with progressive levels for beginner to advanced students.
Hip Hop Workshops
Hip hop classes explore various street dance styles for ages 6 through adult. Students learn rhythm, coordination, and freestyle techniques while developing personal expression. The program encourages cross-training with jazz classes to enhance overall dance versatility and performance skills in contemporary urban dance forms.
Combination Classes
Designed for ages 3-8, combination classes integrate ballet, tap, jazz, and tumbling in age-appropriate levels. Students develop foundational skills across multiple disciplines while learning cooperation and classroom etiquette. The program includes progressive levels from Pre through III, with curriculum tailored to early childhood dance development.
Modern Dance
Modern dance instruction incorporates various contemporary styles for ages 8 through adult. Students learn to explore spatial awareness, weight transfer, and creative movement through lifts, jumps, and leaps. The program recommends prior ballet or jazz training to develop proper technique for this expressive dance form.
