Our History

Sugar Plum Tree Preschool has been a staple in the Park Ridge community for over four decades, providing high-quality education and care to countless children. Our founder, Maryellen Waters, has developed a unique curriculum that has been refined over the years to ensure that our students receive a well-rounded education. We supplement our curriculum with the Early Learning Illinois Standards and the Creative Curriculum, ensuring that our students are well-prepared for their future academic endeavors.

Our Programs and Services

We offer a range of programs and services designed to meet the needs of children from 18 months to Pre-Kindergarten. Our programs include:

• Sprouts (2.5 years - 3+ years): A program that encourages exploration and discovery in our students.
• Discovery (3-4 years): A program that focuses on developing problem-solving skills and encouraging independence.
• Koalas (4-5 years): A program designed to prepare our students for Kindergarten and beyond.
