Miracle League of Tuscaloosa is a non-profit organization that believes every child deserves a chance to play baseball, regardless of their mental or physical abilities. We are dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for children and adults with special needs in Tuscaloosa/Northport and the West Alabama area. Our mission is to provide opportunities for these individuals to participate in Miracle League baseball and build friendships through the love of the game.

Our Services

At Miracle League of Tuscaloosa, we offer noncompetitive baseball games where every player bats each inning, all base runners are safe, and every player scores a home run. We believe that everyone wins when they participate in our games, and our unique "Buddy" program is designed to help our players have the best experience possible. Our Buddies are volunteers who are paired with players to help them play the game, providing the assistance and encouragement they need to have fun and make friends.

Our services cover Tuscaloosa/Northport and the West Alabama area, and we welcome children and adults with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and other disabilities. We are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable baseball experience for all our players, and we offer spring and fall seasons for players of all ages.

Player Registration

At Miracle League of Tuscaloosa, we welcome players of all ages and abilities. Our registration process is designed to be easy and accessible for all our players. Simply scroll down and register today! The deadline for jersey orders for the spring season is February 17th, and the registration fee is $40.

Our spring season runs from March to May, and our fall season runs from September to November. We have games on Saturdays and Tuesdays (competitive), so there's always a game to look forward to. Check out our team rosters for the fall season here.

Game Day Preparation

At Miracle League of Tuscaloosa, we want everyone to be excited and prepared for their day on the field. We have prepared a story that you can read to your children to help them feel more comfortable about their first game. We believe that by preparing for the game, everyone can have a great experience and build friendships along the way.

Volunteer

At Miracle League of Tuscaloosa, we believe that teamwork makes the dream work. Our Buddies program is a great way for volunteers to make a difference in the lives of our players. By becoming a Buddy, you can help a player during the game, provide support and encouragement, and ensure their safety.

Our Buddies are required to attend the team's games each Saturday for one hour and arrive 30 minutes prior to the game. This is a season-long commitment, and Buddies will receive community service hours for their time. Scroll down and fill out the online form to become a Buddy today!
