Our founder, Brian Washburn, is a Vermonter and ex-automotive technician who served the industry for over 23 years. After closing his automotive business in 2014, he decided to venture into a new path that would allow him to spend more time outdoors and utilize his skills in a different way. This led to the establishment of Vermont Land Maintenance, where we specialize in de-brushing services for private and commercial projects, including retention ponds, ROW, pond edges, removal of invasive vegetation, and more.

From Forestry Mulching to Excavating Projects, we have the expertise and equipment to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Our Forestry Mulching services utilize a 110HP Terex Trackloader with a 61 Forestry Mulching head, capable of handling any terrain. Our Excavating Projects include Stump Removal, Stump Grinding, Small Digging Projects, Underground Utility Install, and Drainage.
