Our Story
At Sculpterra Winery and Sculpture Garden, we pride ourselves on being more than just a winery - we're a destination for art and wine enthusiasts alike. Our journey began with a dream to elevate the Paso Robles region by creating a location where art and wine could come together in perfect harmony.
Founded by Dr. Warren Frankel, his wife Kathy, and their three children, we first planted 20 acres of pistachios on our ranch in 1979. As our passion for wine grew, we expanded our vineyard operation in 1997, adding 10 acres of Zinfandel and 10 acres of Merlot. Today, our estate vineyard boasts an impressive portfolio of ultra-premium wines, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Pinot Noir, and more.
Our Wines
Our selection includes our flagship Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style blends, as well as our estate-grown Viognier, Pinot Noir, Primitivo, Cabernet Franc, Mourvedre, and Petite Sirah. Our wines have received numerous awards and accolades, including the 2022 Grenache Central Coast Wine Competition's Best of Class and Double Gold awards.
Our Mission
As a medical missionary foundation, we believe in giving back to our community and supporting those in need. A portion of our proceeds from wine sales goes towards "His Healing Hands, " a non-profit organization that sends medical teams to provide care to underprivileged communities worldwide. We invite you to join us in our mission to spread love, compassion, and wine.
Our Winemaker
Meet Paul Frankel, our winemaker and husband of Dr. Warren Frankel. With a passion for science, botany, and chemistry, Paul's experience and expertise have led to the creation of our exceptional wines. Growing up on the Frankel Ranch, Paul has a deep understanding of the estate's soil types and meso-climates.
