Asghar's passion for rugs started at a young age of 12, when he began restoring and repairing fine hand-woven rugs in the historical Bazaar of Tabriz. He later moved to the United States in his early 20's to continue his trade. Over the years, he has honed his skills and expertise, and today, he is recognized as one of the leading authorities in the field of Oriental and Persian rugs.
