*Civil Engineering*

At LUK + Associates, we offer comprehensive civil engineering design services for both new construction and rehabilitation projects. Our expertise encompasses demolition, grading, utility, improvement, and erosion control plans. Our team specializes in stormwater treatment compliance throughout the greater Bay Area, considering cost-effectiveness in every design aspect. *Surveying*

Our surveying services include topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys, subdivision mapping, records of survey, construction staking and layout, and monitoring surveys. We have extensive experience in surveying for schools, residential, and mixed-use projects, as well as providing on-call services for various public agencies. *Land Planning*

As part of the development team, we identify site constraints and challenges, develop conceptual plans and project strategies, and meet regulatory entities' guidelines. Our team has completed several significant projects, including developments in the Hunter's Point Shipyard, Candlestick Point, the Apple Campus II Expansion, and the multi-phase Pleasant Hill BART TOD. Projects

*Affordable Housing Projects*

Our team has extensive experience in providing civil engineering, surveying, and land planning services for affordable housing projects. One such project is the Lion Creek Crossings in Oakland, a joint venture between the Related Companies of California, Oakland Housing Authority, and EBALDC. The project provides 470 new affordable housing units as well as space for Head Start, YMCA, and other community services. The project also incorporated a 5.7-acre park with a new athletic field and restored creek.

*Market Rate Housing Projects*

We have been the engineer and surveyor of record for several market rate housing projects, including the Pleasant Hill Transit Village in Walnut Creek. The project, an 18-acre site owned by BART, includes several parcels leased to AvalonBay Communities. The site includes retail, office, a new BART parking structure, two parks, and over 400 housing units. We performed the initial topographic and boundary survey for the entire site; prepared the tentative and final map, and provided civil engineering design for all phases of the project.
