For over 50 years, Great Beginnings Preschool has been a beacon of warmth, care, and nurturing for young learners in the Leesburg community. As an outreach ministry of Leesburg United Methodist Church, we believe in fostering a safe and engaging environment where children can discover, explore, and reach their full potential.

Our Philosophy

We believe in the power of play-based learning to ignite young minds. Our curriculum emphasizes exploration, discovery, and child-centered discovery. We encourage children to learn through hands-on experiences, fostering their natural curiosity and fostering their social-emotional development.

Dedicated Staff

Our team of experienced educators is passionate about nurturing young minds. Led by Ms. Heather, our lead teacher, our staff is nurturing, supportive, and dedicated to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for every child. We are committed to providing individualized attention, guiding children through challenges, and celebrating their triumphs alongside them.

Learning Experiences

At Great Beginnings Preschool, we offer age-appropriate programs for toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarteners. Each program is designed to:

2-Year-Old Class: Fostering social development through exploration, sensory play, and outdoor discovery.

3-Year-Old Class: Building foundational skills in literacy, math, and social-emotional learning through interactive activities and center exploration.

4-Year-Old Pre-K Class: Preparing for kindergarten through engaging lessons in letter-sound relationships, math concepts, and movement-based activities.
