Our Story

Helmer Dance Studio, founded in 1982, is a vibrant dance school nurturing passionate dancers of all ages and skill levels in the Hudson, Wisconsin area. We believe dance fosters creativity, builds confidence, and promotes teamwork.

Founder and Director, Sarah Jo Helmer, envisioned a studio that would go beyond just teaching steps and techniques. Her vision has blossomed into a nurturing environment that fosters unyielding self-expression, celebrates individual achievements, and fosters a sense of community.

What We Offer

At Helmer Dance Studio, we offer a diverse selection of dance classes and camps for children and adults. From classical ballet and lyrical to contemporary hip-hop and acrobatics, we have something for everyone. We also provide private lessons and birthday party packages.
