St Croix Ballet has been dedicated to classical ballet training for 30 years, rooted in the Russian Vagonova Method. Our studio offers comprehensive instruction in ballet, character, modern dance, and jazz, preparing students for professional careers or lifelong appreciation of dance. Our alumni have gained acceptance into prestigious programs at institutions like Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, and Gelsey Kirkland Academy.We produce two annual ballets, including a decades-long Nutcracker tradition and a spring performance, alongside a three-week summer intensive culminating in a Pioneer Park gala. The Karla Sweeney Foundation, established in 2016, continues our founder's legacy of promoting dance education and community engagement through events like the annual 'Evening on Pointe' fundraiser.

Karla Sweeney
Founder
Karla Sweeney established St Croix Ballet in 1991 after dancing professionally with Ballet West and Disney productions. Her legacy continues through the Karla Sweeney Foundation for the Arts, which she inspired through 15 years of dedicated leadership before her passing in 2015.
