Your One-Stop RV Shop for All Your Recreational Vehicle Needs

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am thrilled to introduce myself and my practice, Shelly King Therapy. I am dedicated to providing a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space for individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in the understanding that each person is unique, with their own story, and that we all deserve a supportive and compassionate environment to navigate life's challenges.

About My Practice

As a therapist, I believe that everyone deserves a chance to heal, grow, and evolve. I offer a wide range of services, including individual therapy, couples therapy, and baby loss support. My approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, incorporating various modalities such as attachment theory, somatic work, brainspotting, and relational neuroscience.

Therapy Services

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, I am here to support you. My therapeutic approach is centered around creating a nourishing container to invite new perspectives and tools for living. Together, we will explore the roots of your concerns, and work collaboratively to develop strategies for overcoming them.

Attachment Styles

Understanding our attachment styles is crucial in understanding our relationships. I support clients in exploring their attachment styles, addressing the root causes of their behaviors, and developing a deeper sense of self-awareness. By doing so, we can work together to cultivate healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Brainspotting and Somatic Work

Brainspotting is a powerful tool for processing trauma, negative emotions, and somatic and emotionally based conditions. Somatic work helps the body renegotiate events on a body-based level, promoting relief and nervous system regulation. I incorporate these modalities into our therapy sessions, helping clients release patterns and find greater flexibility in the face of challenging situations.

Relational Neuroscience and Trauma Work

My work is deeply rooted in relational neuroscience, which acknowledges the interdependence of human beings. I also acknowledge the impact of trauma on our lives and offer somatic and empathetic approaches to processing and healing from traumatic experiences.

Together, We Can

As we embark on this therapeutic journey, I invite you to meet me with an open heart and mind. Together, we will explore the complexities of your story and co-create new tools for living. I believe that everyone deserves a chance to heal, grow, and evolve. I am honored to be a part of your journey, and I look forward to working with you.
